Patricia A. Myers

Patricia A. Myers, 79, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, August 6, 2017, at home, surrounded by her family.

A hospitality gathering will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite veterans organization.

The former Patricia Ann Tuttle was born January 25, 1938, in Moline, the daughter of Elmer Albert and Anna Katherine (Schulz) Tuttle. After her mother's death, she was raised by her father and step-mother, Anna Nitz Tuttle. She married Kenneth J. Myers on September 30, 1957, in East Moline. He died December 23, 2005.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and was known for her holiday cookies. Above all else, she loved being with her family.

Pat is survived by four children and their spouses, Anna-Marie and Dale Attwood of Rock Island, Sandra and Steven Parmenter of Moline, Kenneth II and Wendy Myers of Moreno Valley, California, and Kevin and Nikki Myers of Ontario, California; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Delores (Oaty) Hoffman of Geneseo, Donna (John) Farmer of Viola, Illinois, and Pat (Donna) Tuttle, all of East Moline; in-laws, Richard (Mary) Myers of Rock Island, and Sandi Haegeman of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth J. Myers, Sr.; and sisters, Sharon Lawver, Joan Wooddell, and Paula Tuttle.
