East Moline, Illinois Services for Pat Forth, 79, of East Moline, are 2 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2001, at First Presbyterian Church, East Moline. The Rev. Eric Nielsen will officiate. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, Illinois. Visitation is one hour before the funeral at the church. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the church or a favorite charity. Mrs. Forth died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in her home. The former Wilma Charlotte Patterson was born December 3, 1921, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel and Mary "Molly" (Smith) Patterson. She graduated from Morrison High School and received a teaching certificate from Northern Illinois University, Dekalb. She married Murray W. Forth on June 24, 1943, in Morrison, Illinois. He died January 29, 1972. Following his death, she was a teacher's aide in Moline Public Schools for several years. She had been an active member of First Presbyterian Church, East Moline, where she was a deacon and a member of Presbyterian Women and Mariners Club, and was a member of Chapter BL of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Silver Chalice Circle of Kings' Daughters, and Rock Island County Republican Women. She loved music, dancing, traveling and spending time with her many friends. Her favorite quotation was "Friendship multiplies joy and divides grief." Pat is survived by a son, Tom Forth of Fairview, Oregon, a daughter, Becky Forth of Davenport, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Ruth Forth of Kankakee, Illinois.
