Pamela A. "Penny" Beauchamp

Pamela A. “Penny” Schmidt Beauchamp, 73, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Saturday, March 11, 2023, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

A hospitality gathering will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, immediately followed by a time of sharing for family and friends at 4:00 p.m.

The former Pamela Ann Beauchamp was born July 4, 1949, in Urbana, Illinois, the daughter of Wilfred F. and Alice G. (Milne) Schmidt.

Penny was a 1967 graduate of United Township High School and later earned an Associate's Degree from Black Hawk College. She worked as a Registered Surgical Nurse for local Quad City hospitals and later was a systems analyst for Rock Island Arsenal.

Penny was kind, generous, and devoted to her friends and family.

She is survived by one son, Aaron Jesse Beauchamp and his wife, Becky, and one granddaughter, Madison Beauchamp, all in the Quad Cities; and her brother, Dr. Warren N. Schmidt and wife, Carla, in Iowa City, Iowa. Two brothers, Wilfred F. Schmidt Jr. and Wayne M. Schmidt, preceded her in death.
