Mark R. Perrine, 56, of Hillsdale, Illinois, died Thursday, October 16, 2008, in University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mark Perrine Memorial Fund.
Mark Randal Perrine was born September 27, 1952, in Moline, the son of Martin L. and Mary Jane (Nitzel) Perrine. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 1970. He married Winona Sue Lilly Brewer on May 25, 2001, in New Windsor, Illinois. He worked at McLaughlin Body Company for 29 years, and later worked as a truck driver until January, 2008, when he could no longer work due to illness. Mark loved the outdoors, liked to hunt and fish, and was very knowledgeable about all things in nature,
Mark is survived by his wife, Sue; one daughter, Anna Marie Perrine and her significant other Scott Calhoun of East Moline; four grandchildren, Brandon and Kayleb Wakeland, Logan Calhoun, and Traytin Dennis; step-children, Billy Jo Brewer of Orion and John Brewer of Viola; four step-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Jane Perrine Boardman and her husband Richard of East Moline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Gary Heitman of Davenport, Iowa, and Sherry and Glenn Brummet of Moline; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kirk and Kathleen Perrine of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Bryce Perrine.
