Moline, Illinois Clarissa Norton, 76, of Moline, died Sunday, September 28, 2003, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, with Dr. Kenneth Kline officiating. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Moline. The former Clarissa Hanson was born November 3, 1926, in Moline, the daughter of John and Hope Hanson. She married Cecil A. Norton on July 28, 1961, in Moline. He died November 6, 1995. She was an accountant for Robbins Electric Co,. and Strombeck Manufacturing Company. She was an active member of First Christian Church, Moline, had served as Secretary-Treasurer of Business Women's Association, and was a member of Moline Family Campers, Sippi Sam Campers, Avion Travelcade Club, and Tag-a-long Trailer Club. She enjoyed camping, puzzles, playing cards with her friends, and attending local and Chicago musicals. Clarissa is survived by a son, Barry P. Highsmith of Moline; two step-daughters and their husbands, Susan and George Rekkas of Davenport, and Sally and Robert Lambert of Bettendorf; six grandchildren Christina Foltz, Laura Erlewine, Christine Rekkas, John Haessler, Alexander Lambert, and Andrew Lambert; and six great-grandchildren.
