Norma A. Culver

Moline, Illinois Services for Norma A. Culver, 92, formerly of Moline, are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline. The Reverend Jan Griffith will officiate. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church or the Harold F. Cheek Memorial Scholarship Fund at Moline Lodge #1014 AF & AM. Mrs. Culver died Sunday, March 10, 2002, in Illini Hospital, Silvis. The former Norma Aurelia Lewis was born June 7, 1909, in LeShara, Nebraska, the daughter of Walter and Eula (Gray) Lewis. She married Vern Culver on December 4, 1930, in Washta, Iowa. He died July 21, 1994. Norma was past Mother Advisor of Moline Assembly #22, Order of Rainbow for Girls; a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, United Methodist Women of the church, Lend-A-Hand Circle of Kings' Daughters, and Moline Hampton Circle of F.E.C. formerly Home Extension; and a former member of Andalusia Chapter #617, Order of Eastern Star. She had been piano accompanist for several area dance studios. Norma is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Virgil Juliot of Geneseo, Carolyn and Joseph Lampo of Moline, and Cathy Blanford of Western Springs, Illinois; eleven grandchildren, Kathy McDowell, Karen Reinertsen, Keith Juliot, Kevin Juliot, Mark Juliot, Michael Cheek, Vicki Lawson, Julie Freedman, Paul Cheek, Lauren Blanford and Tawnya Blanford; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, her husband, a daughter Colleen in infancy, and two sons-in-law, Harold Cheek and William Blanford.
