Natasha Ann Munger, 47, of Eldridge, Iowa, formerly of Moline, Illinois, passed away with family by her side and went into the arms of the Lord on February 28, 2025. Heaven has gained a loving, kind angel.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 22, 2025, at Elim Covenant Church, 5201 18th Avenue, Moline. As a testament to Tasha’s ongoing generosity, cremation will be completed by the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine after her wishes are fulfilled to help further research and study. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Darrene Welch for a fund to be established in Natasha’s memory.
Tasha grew up in Moline, Illinois and graduated from Moline High School in 1996. Throughout her years she enjoyed working at the Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center and Galaxy One where she made friends and cherished those relationships throughout her life.
She enjoyed time with friends and family and looked forward to family traditions at grandma’s house. She loved music, dancing, and sit-coms. Tasha was an avid reader and enjoyed playing trivia. She was a pet advocate and loved her furry friends.
Tasha was an active member of Elim Covenant Church and had great compassion for helping anyone, especially through the prayer chain.
We have all witnessed her strength, positivity and perseverance through tough times and still made sure to bring light in our day by sending a morning bible verse.
She brought smiles to many faces through her greeting cards and handwritten jokes. Tasha’s smile, laughs, and sense of humor will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her parents, Roger Munger of Moline; Darrene and Ron Welch of Davenport, Iowa; grandparents, Maxine and Wiley Barnes of Moline; sister and brother-in-law, Miranda (Munger) and Jared Plett of Long Grove, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Meghann Welch of Eldridge; step-brother, Curtis Welch; and numerous loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Tasha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary A. McCord; grandfather, Roger W. Munger; great-aunt, Virginia McCord; uncle, Michael J Munger; and great-grandmothers, Sadie Munger and Edna Ramsey.
The family would like to thank the Genesis Hospice and Good Samaritan staffs for their special care in Tasha’s final days.
Tasha’s loving impact on all of us will continue to shine light throughout our lives. Until we meet again “Thank you for being a Friend.”
