Nancy Jackson, 81, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, Davenport, Iowa.
A memorial gathering is 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, immediately followed by burial in Rock Island National Cemetery. Cremation has taken place at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to the Animal Aid Humane Society, Moline.
The former Nancy Ruth Maline was born October 12, 1933, in Moline, the daughter of Clifford and Ruth (Ahlstrand) Maline. She married Charles A. Jackson on August 6, 1954, in Rock Island.
She worked in admitting for St. Anthony's Hospital in Rock Island, and then in the business office for Lutheran Hospital in Moline, which became Trinity before she retired.
Nancy was a member of the Moline American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, cross-stitching, talking on the phone, and getting together monthly with a group of former Lutheran Hospital retirees.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Charles; a daughter, Carole Flosi of Rock Island, a grandson, Daniel (Karlee) Flosi of Kent, Washington; two great-grandchildren, Holden and Dahlia; and a sister, Marilyn. She was preceded in death by her parents.
