She graduated from Mankato State University with a B.A. in Business Administration and married Charles Linville on March 19, 1966, in Rochester. She was the Head of Finance and Director of H.R. for Fiksdal Motel and Fiksdal Flowers in Rochester.
Nancy loved getting involved and often took on leadership positions. She was a Girl Scout and then as her children grew-up, she was involved as a District Leader and a Den Mother for Boy Scouts. In high school she was in The Pirates of Penzance and in Junior College was in Damn Yankees.
Nancy was cheerful, understanding and comforting to everyone she met. She was loyal and dedicated to her family. She often worked on her family tree and put together reunions for her family for many years.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Charles; two children and spouses, Natalie and John Mass of Rock Island, IL and Brian and Jean Linville of East Moline, IL; grandchildren, Henry and Lucy Mass and Allison (James Long), Amanda and Abigail (Luke) Linville; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen and Betsy Fiksdal and Gary and Cory Fiksdal, all of Rochester.
