Monty E. Minch

Moline, Illinois Monty E. Minch, age 43 of Moline, Illinois died, Thursday, August 9, 2001. A Graveside Service will be held, 10:30 AM, Monday at Coal Valley Cemetery, Coal Valley, Illinois. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley. Memorials may be given to the family or to the John Lewis Coffee Shop in Davenport, Iowa. Monty Eugene Minch was born on June 11, 1958 in Rock Island, Illinois the son of Robert E. Lee and Yvonne (Hanmer) Minch. Monty had previously been employed in the construction business, working in California, and Texas where he also worked on oil rigs. Monty was an artist who enjoyed pencil drawing and sketching. While living in California, he loved taking walks on the beach. Monty is survived by his mother, Yvonne ''Vonnie'' Wolking of Geneseo, brothers and sister-in-law, Randy and Rosie Minch of Moline, and Scott Wolking of East Moline, a special friend, Mickey Keith of Santa Maria, California, along with numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
