Misti L. Geary

Misti L. Geary, 47, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation has taken place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, and there will be no services. Memorials may be made in her name to the One Eighty (One Eighty exists to bring hope, love and opportunity to people and communities impacted by crisis poverty, or addiction.), 601 N Marquette St., Davenport, IA 52802.

She was born May 23, 1970, in Moline, Illinois.

Misti loved cats, watching Law & Order, and cared for and loved her family. She had a kind heart and was deeply saddened by animals suffering, being homeless or mistreated. She had been through many trials in her life and was starting down a new path toward a brighter tomorrow.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Michael J. Geary; her mom, Terri Goulet-Smith of Rock Island; her sisters, Marci (Deontrice Berka) Echols of Zumbrota, Minnesota, and Tiffany (Taren) Goulet-Long of Rock Island; daughter, Sarah; son, Zachary; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Taren and Thedon Goulet-Long. Her son, David; grandma, Patricia "Mohr" Mink; and maternal grandparents preceded in her death.
