Milton E. Anderson

Milton E. Anderson, 97, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, in Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island.

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Visitation one hour before the services. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the First Evangelical Free Church Benevolent Fund or the Salvation Army.

Milton Edgar Anderson was born August 24, 1917, in Moline, to Herman B. and Esther (Skoglund) Anderson. He was raised by his father and step-mother, Jenny Anderson. He married Wilma Helstrom on December 26, 1941, in Silvis, Illinois. She died August 4, 2007. He was employed by Deere and Company for 42 years, retiring as Supervisor of Pricing in 1981. He was a member of First Evangelical Free Church, Moline.

Milt is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy B. and Gail Anderson of Belleair Bluffs, Florida, Craig M. and Bridget Anderson of Burr Ridge, Illinois, and J. Brent and Joy Anderson of Moline; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Michael C. Anderson; and a brother, Atwell Anderson.
