East Moline, Illinois Mildred M. Smith, 99, of East Moline, died Thursday, October 31, 2002, in Illini Hospital, Silvis, Illinois. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. The former Mildred Dilliner was born August 9, 1903, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Eliza (Kirkpatrick) Dilliner. She married Neal O. Smith in 1923, in Des Moines, Iowa. He died in 1981. She had been employed at the former Peterson Department Store. She was a member of First Christian Church, Moline. Mildred is survived by three children and their spouses, Sandra and Gary Roberts of Colona, Betty and Edward Radoll of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and Donald and Doris Smith of Michigan, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
