Michie M. Browne

Michie M. Browne, 92, of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, October 14, 2016, in ManorCare Health Service - Utica Ridge, Davenport, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, followed by graveside services and burial at Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Michie Matsukawa was born December 14, 1923, in Hiroshima, Japan, to Bunhich Matsukawa and Asano Kitamure. She married Nelson Browne on May 24, 1954, in Tokyo, Japan. He died July 5, 1990. She became a naturalized US Citizen in 1974.

Michie was preceded in death by her good friend, Hazel H. Milen, whose family was very close to Michie. She is survived by her good friends, Theda Meyers of Davenport and her family, and Margaret and Richard McKay of Bettendorf and their family,
