Michelle L. Reed, 49, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 5, 2018, at St. Anthony's, Rock Island.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Michelle was born August 8, 1969, in Brownsville, Tennessee, the daughter of Joyce Williams and Fred Reed. She worked for The Arc of the Quad Cities Area and McDonald's. She enjoyed dancing and partying and was a real go-getter. She made friends with everyone she met and loved life.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Hobson of Brownsville, Tennessee; a son, Rodney Scott of Davenport; siblings, Kenny Reed of Rock Island, Sean Hobson of Princeton, Illinois, and Dominique Teague of Atlanta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and aunts, Gloria Williams of Rock Island, Annie Phillips of Rock Island, Eddie Mae Jarrett of Tennessee, and Georgia Ontario of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Reed.
