Michael A. Whitt

Michael A. Whitt, 62, of Bettendorf, Iowa died Thursday September 14, 2023 at home.

A gathering to celebrate Michael’s life will be held on October 8^th, 2023 at the Bettendorf VFW Post 9128 at 2:00 pm

He was born on July 30, 1961 in Maricopa County, Arizona, the son of Donald D. and Mable (Cottingham) Whitt. He married Brenda Meeks on October 4, 2012 in Bettendorf, Iowa. He worked for Sivyer Steel in Bettendorf, Iowa for about 20 years.

Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; his children, Billy (Christine) of Davenport, IA, Tavia Conrad of New Orleans, LA, Amber Cooperman of Chicago, IL, Kayla (Kevin) Cooperman of Davenport, IA, Levi (Cassie) Whitt of Des Moines, IA, and Kambree Parker of Tucson, AZ;  his mother, Mable Whitt of Sun City, AZ; his brother, Dale (Karen) Whitt of Sun City, AZ; his grandsons, Isaac Cooperman and Westyn Jasper of Davenport, IA; and lots of nephew and nieces.

He preceded in death his father, Donald Whitt, and his niece, Kandice Whitt.
