Michael W. Rentfro

Michael W. Rentfro, 61, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Aperion Care, East Moline.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Michael Wayne Rentfro was born November 14, 1956, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Leland and Ruth (Meadows) Rentfro.

He had a very strong faith in Jesus Christ. His favorite thing was his daily trips to the Pancake House in Rock Island. He enjoyed being around and talking to people, and would visit with anyone and everyone.

Mike is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Rentfro of Rock Island; a son, Josh (Grace) Rentfro of Davenport; grandchildren, Alex Hardcastle, Jasmine, Adam, and Zachary Burke, and June Rentfro; siblings, Cheryl Posateri of Milan, Bob Rentfro of Matherville, Gary Rentfro of Milan, Robert Rentfro of Matherville, and Jeff Rentfro of Aledo; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Andrew Hardcastle.
