Michael G. Higgins

Michael G. Higgins, 41, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, May 9, 2024. 

Private services have taken place under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline.

Michael George Higgins was born September 7, 1982, in Aledo, Illinois.  He married Michele Emmons and the couple had two children prior to separating.

He was a talented chef for several Quad Cities restaurants and steakhouses, most recently working at Johnny’s Steakhouse in Moline.  He loved to golf and enjoyed the time he spent living in Japan.   He was a talented artist, skilled in basketball, and had a passion for boxing. He loved his animals and had a soft spot for cats. Above all else, he loved his children and was very proud of their accomplishments.

Mike is survived by his children, Jessica and Sebastian Higgins; his parents, Dennis and Mary Loving; and siblings, Brandy (Holly) Higgins and Herman Rauch.
