Mary R. Kinne

Rock Island, Illinois Services for Mary R. Kinne, 85, of Rock Island, are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island. The Reverend Melvin Brown will officiate. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Lung Association. Mrs. Kinne died Thursday, December 6, 2001, in Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island. The former Mary Rosetta Finley was born April 26, 1916, in Rock Island, the daughter of Orton and Antoinette (McPherron) Finley. She married Chester Kinne on March 3, 1947, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He died July 31, 1989. She was a legal secretary and paralegal for the Katz, McAndrews, Durkee and Telleen Law Firm in Rock Island for 25 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island, the Legal Secretaries Association, and Eva B. Clarkson Circle of Kings' Daughters. Mary is survived by two sons and a daughter and their spouses, Michael and Ann Shea of Redlands, California, Leslie and Terry Hubbard of Moline, and Christopher Kinne of Galesburg; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, Andrew Rebecca, Stacy, Michael, Christopher, Patrick and Lara; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Enid Rebenar of East Moline.
