Marsha H. Kisting Baker, 63, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family.
The former Marsha Helen Kisting was born September 23, 1955, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Mattie (Barnard) Kisting. She spent the last 19 years with the love of her life, Michael Carothers.
Marsha worked in the foreign military sales division at the Rock Island Arsenal. She was always reading, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Marsha is survived by her partner, Michael Carothers of Moline; a daughter, Carrie Baker of Rock Island; a son, Christopher Baker of Silvis; grandchildren, Kenyon Love II, Traevonte Love, Simmy Bloch, Isaya Baker, Elijah Baker, and Kiyah Baker; a nephew, Thomas Kisting, Jr.; and a niece, Stephanie Kisting. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Kisting, Sr.
