Mark D. Sikes

Mark D. Sikes, 44, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly with his furbaby, Lily, at his side, on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at his home.

A hospitality gathering to celebrate Mark's life will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, Illinois, with a toast for family and friends at 7:00 p.m.. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Mark David Sikes was born August 1, 1974, in Landstahl, Germany, the son of David Allen and Trudy Jean (Trevor) Sikes. He graduated from Moline High School and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was currently working for John Deere in Milan for the past 10 years. Previously, he worked for Body Quest.

Mark is survived by his mother, Trudy, of Moline; father, David of Charleston, South Carolina; two brothers, and four sisters.
