Marion I. Masengarb, 90, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities, Bettendorf.

Services are 11 a.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Reverend Dan Witkowski, First Lutheran Church, Moline, officiating. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Marion's family invites friends to join them at a funeral luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe immediately following trhe burial. Memorials may be made to Iowa Masonic Health Facilities.

Marion was born October 20, 1924, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of William and Fannie (Milleson) Masengarb. She never married and took care of her mother for many years before her mother's death.

Marion was internal manager at the Embassy Apartments in Bettendorf for 47 years, retiring in 2009. She made many friends during her lifetime and was the babysitter for most of the families' little ones as needed. She loved it.

She was a member of the Jeanette MacDonald Fan Club and she corresponded with other members in many other countries. She loved old movies and has many recordings of them. Currently she enjoyed watching Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, and The Voice.

Marion is survived by two brothers, Howard Masengarb of Bettendorf, and Ralph Masengarb of East Moline, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Paul, Stowell, and Wiman Masengarb.
