Marilyn J. Klindt

Marilyn J. Klindt, 72, of Silvis, Illinois, formerly of Springfield, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care in Silvis.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Marilyn Jane Starks was born September 2, 1946, in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Freda (Widmer) Starks. She was a dietary aid for Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for many years.

She enjoyed listening to music, flowers, gardening, and really loved her job.

Marilyn is survived by two sons, Mike (Caroline English-Klindt) Klindt of Zanesville, Ohio, and Mark (Deanna) Klindt of Davenport, Iowa; grandchildren, Jessica, Erica, Jeremy, Dalainee, and Elliott; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joann Nelson-Kash. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Brooke Klindt.
