Marie R. Malone, 80, of East Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in Parkview Terrace, East Moline.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Pastor Bill Sandoval, House of the Lord, East Moline, will officiate. Burial is in St. Mary?s Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
The former Marie Roberta Flavin was born October 27, 1929, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of John and Margaret Flanagan Flavin. She married Richard Malone in 1957, in New York City, and they were divorced in 1982. She was an In-home Caregiver for Nurses House Call, retiring in 1993, and previously was a house parent at Moosehart Home. She was an avid bowler, and enjoyed Bingo, traveling, and reading.
Marie is survived by seven children and their spouses, James and Diane Ryan of Hanover, Mass., Kathy and Richie Richardson and John and Donna Ryan, all of New Bedford, Mass., Bob and Ann Ryan of Tampa, Fla., Tommy Ryan of Boston, Mass., Susan and Dale Wykoff of Silvis, Ill., and Christine and John Davis of Geneseo, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Kay Nolan of Dorchester, Mass.
