Moline, Illinois Services for Margaret M. Young, 96, of Moline, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Jan Griffith will officiate. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is Noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church or the Illinois Heart Association. Mrs. Young died Friday, December 6, 2002, in Trinity Medical Canter, Rock Island. The former Margaret Martha Angeline Miller was born December 5, 1906, in Fulton County, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and F. and Anna V. (Henderson) Miller. She married David C. Young on March 9, 1927, in Moline. He died April 23, 1975. She was bookkeeper at Iowa Roofing Company for several years. She was a long time member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, where she was active on many boards and committees, a member of Short Hills Country Club, East Moline, and an honorary member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed needlework and yardwork. Margaret is survived by a nephew and his wife, Jack and Ruth Walker of Canton, Illinois, a grand-niece, Shelly Henderson of Overland Park, Kansas; a grand-nephew, Mitchell Walker of Marshalltown, Iowa; two great-grand-nieces; and two great-grandnephews.
