Margaret L. Gilbert

Margaret L. Gilbert, 80, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, March 7, 2014, in UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline.

The former Margaret Louise Ritchie was born March 21, 1933, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Charles and Florence Morgan Ritchie. She married Carl R. Gilbert on March 19, 1961, in Morrison, Illinois. She enjoyed flowers, bingo, and embroidery.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Carl; her daughter, Carla Belgarde of Moline; and her twin sister, Mary Carville of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joseph Belgarde, three brothers and one sister.
