Margaret A. Aultman

Margaret A. Aultman, 100, of Rock Island, died Friday, November 26, 2004, in Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island.

Visitation is 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, followed by graveside services at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Rock Island, or Friendship Manor Benevolent Fund.

The former Margaret Augusta Klouser was born November 27, 1903, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Walter and Augusta Laufenburg Klouser. She married Chester Aultman on September 9, 1930, in Moline. He died August 12, 1982. She was a teacher in Moline and Colona schools for 20 years, retiring in 1960. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rock Island, Marcia Louise Gould Circle of Kings Daughters, and Blackhawk, Colona, and Illinois Retired Teachers groups.

Margaret is survived by a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Aultman of Charlotte, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Kimberly Dobro, Michael Aultman, and Katie Aultman; and two great grandchildren, Megan and Brandon Dobro. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Richard Aultman.
