Malcolm M. Aldrich, 35, of Rock Island, died Friday, November 21, 2003, in his father's home in East Moline.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Joseph Robb will officiate. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to a fund which will be established in his name at Robert Young Center, Rock Island.
Malcolm Marston Aldrich was born June 24, 1968, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Malcolm W. and Lynda Lou (Hubing) Aldrich. He received two associates degrees, from Black Hawk College and from Danville Area Community College. He had been employed as greens superintendent at Oregon County Club, Oregon, Illinois. He was a former member of the Golf Superintendents Association, and was an interested political observer.
Malcolm is survived by his father, Malcolm, of East Moline, his brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Kori Aldrich of Palos Heights, Illinois, and several aunts, uncles and cousins in Montana and Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynda, on April 19, 2003.
