Norma M. Wixom, 72, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, December 13, 2009, in her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at New Apostolic Church, 9003 Ridgewood Road, Rock Island. Burial will follow at Moline Memorial Park. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born December 19, 1936, in Moline, to Charles and Rose (Washburn) Bond. She married Wallace Johnson, who preceded her in death. She married James H. Wixom in 1974, in Rock Island. He died December 2, 2000.
She was a member of New Apostolic Church, and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and being with her family.
Norma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and John Rife; two grandchildren and their spouses, Gina and Scott Skubal and James and Jessie Rife; and four great-grandchildren, all of Atalissa, Iowa; four step-sons; and sisters, Marilyn Goodle of Batavia, Iowa, Betty Weger of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Joyce Vinegar of Davenport, Iowa.
