Lyric D. Stewart

Lyric Denise Stewart, 14, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.

Services are 12:30 p.m. Thursday, January 7, in Greater Faith Full of Gospel Baptist Church, 306 West Cedar Street, Davenport, Iowa, with Pastor Russell Harrington officiating. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, following the services.

Lyric was born June 24, 2006, in Davenport, Iowa, to Tony Stewart and Victoria Waddington Stewart. She was in the 9th Grade at Rock Island High School. She was an amazing artist, had the most giving heart, and was great with kids and animals.

Lyric is survived by a special aunt, Diana McKinney; special cousins, MyKala Smith, Cashius Davis, and Chad Scott; her parents; her siblings, Kasha Woods-Carden, Michael Newberry, Elijah Waddington, Jeremiah Dixon, and Skyler, Kylie, and Josiah Stewart; her grandparents, Charles Stewart and Ok Cha Stewart (LaDorn Pettway); aunts, Pamela Stewart, Crystal Harker, Michelle Anderson, and Angela Anderson (Depree); uncles, Michael Anderson and Trey Pollard; ten nieces and nephews; a special friend, Johnna Klatt; and a host of cousins.
