The former Lydia Joyce Sartor was born May 20, 1938, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the daughter of James and Edna (Roby) Sartor. She married Dean Lundburg on January 12, 1963, in Cambridge, Illinois. She had several different jobs over the years, oftentimes two or three at the same time. She was a babysitter, worked at Toys R Us, and was a waitress at several local restaurants.
She enjoyed camping, sewing, and collecting Barbie Dolls, especially the holiday versions. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Joyce, and she loved supporting her children and grandchildren in their many activities over the years.
Joyce is survived by her beloved husband of over 55 years, Dean; children, Sherry (Joe) Zepeda of Moline, Chris (Deanna) Lundburg of Orion, Doug Lundburg (fiancé Summer Rasmussen) of Davenport, and Carrie (Jed) Weber of Coal Valley; grandchildren, Sarah (Chad) Lenning of Groveland, Illinois, Nicholas (fiancé Amber Hatch) Zepeda of Bettendorf, Jared Zepeda of Moline, Andrew and Nathan Lundburg of Orion, Elizabeth Lundburg of Moline, and Claire, Jack and Lucy Weber, all of Coal Valley; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alaina, Caleb, Tyler, Keira, Lexi, Lili, Addison, Kennedy, and Maddox; siblings, Lorriane (John) Horton of East Moline, and Andy (Evelyn) Sartor of Mountain Grove; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Brandon Lundquist; and siblings, Wes, Bill and Lloyd Sartor, Eunice Keehner, and Bonnie Percival.
The family would like to give special thanks to everyone at Alternatives in Moline, especially Sandy; UnityPoint Hospice, especially Darcy; and all of her wonderful neighbors, especially Trish and Jerry, and Tracie and Nick, for the wonderful care given to Joyce.
