Luverna Greene

LuVerna Greene, 90, of East Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, November 5, 2017, in Aperion Care, East Moline.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Western Township Cemetery, Orion, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

The former LuVerna Doris Miller was born July 13, 1927, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Charles W. and Nellie Russell Miller. She married Jack Greene, and he died in 1982. She was employed in Administration for the Cook County Sherriff's Department. She loved to shop in downtown Chicago, where she lived for many years.

LuVerna is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Harold and June Miller of Moline; and several nieces and nephews.
