Lucy Pauley

E. Lucille "Lucy" Pauley, age 77, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Illini Hospital in Silvis, Illinois. No services will be held for Mrs. Pauley. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent to either the American Heart or Lung Association in her memory. The former Ercel Lucille Pauley was born May 21, 1926 in Putman County, Missouri, the daughter of Chester and Lenora (Pickenpaw) Blankenship. She married Ned Elwood Pauley on April 14, 1942 in Livonia, Missouri; he preceded her in death on December 13, 1994. Lucy was employed at the Deere & Company world headquarters in Moline, were she worked in the executive room for over 28 years, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, square dancing, and her "little tike". Mrs. Pauley's family includes a daughter, Jean Inskeep of Oro Grande, California, a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Darla Pauley of Moline, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Barbara Garrells of Houston, Texas, and Marjorie Hink of Ocala, Florida.
