Lucille Williams, 92, of Coal Valley, Illinois, formerly of San Diego, California, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, in Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
Services will be private with burial at Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, Iowa. Memorials may be made to a local animal shelter. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, is assiting the family.
Elma Lucille Williams was born July 1, 1915, in Buffalo, Iowa, the daughter of George and Della (Young) Williams. She worked as an administrative medical secretary for the San Diego Couty Coroner?s Office for 39 years. She loved animals and geneology.
Lucille is survived by five nieces and nephews including Elizabeth McWilliams of Coal Valley, nine grandnieces and nephews, and five great-grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosaland Meyer and Martha McWilliams.
