Lucille Frakes, 94, of Knoxville, Illinois, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Pastor Sharon Farral officiating. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Illinois. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, East Moline, where she was a member.
She was born January 30, 1920, in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Bert and Josephine (Babb) Stoneking.
Lucille was a bartender at Bon Air Tavern in Moline for over 35 years, retiring in 1983. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Marvin and Evelyn Frakes of Luggoff, South Carolina, Carol and Edgar Brown of Woodhull, Illinois, and Larry and Marcie Frakes of Sunset Beach, North Carolina; grandchildren, Gary Frakes, Randy and Lisa Brown, Amy and Scott Schabers, and Aron and Tracy Frakes; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Vernie Stoneking of Knoxville, and Marion Stoneking of Camden Springs, California. She was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother, and a grandson, Alan Frakes.
