Lori A. Peterson

Lori A. Peterson, 62, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, January 26, 2020, at home.

Private family services will take place at a later date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Lori Ann Brieholz was born June 2, 1957, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Carol (Lindquist) Brieholz. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1975. She married Jeff Peterson on July 4, 1981, in Rock Island, and went on to earn her degree from United Medical Center School of Nursing in 1990 and was class president.

She was a Registered Nurse for several facilities in the area, and truly enjoyed helping others, especially the elderly.

Lori is survived by her husband, Jeff; three children, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Peterson of Davenport, Iowa, Emily Peterson of Moline, and Brooklynn Peterson of Moline; four grandchildren; a half-brother, Frank Brieholz of Pontiac, Illinois; and her best friend, Kathy Cole of Rock Island. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to give special thanks to UnityPoint Hospice, especially Dee, for their wonderful care of Lori.
