Loren R. Yeager

Loren R. Yeager, 34, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial headstone.

Loren was born April 19, 1983, in Moline, the son of Mark and Victoria (Ankney) Yeager. He graduated from Moline High School and Black Hawk College, and was currently attending Western Illinois University.

He was a talented musician and was a guitar instructor through Co-Op Records of Moline. He also wrote music and performed at several local venues.

Among survivors are his parents, Victoria Yeager of Silvis, Illinois, and Mark (Jill) Yeager of Moline; a brother, Donald (Anita) Westcott III of Cumming, Georgia; a sister, Lorraine (Stephen) Shanebrook of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; nephews and a niece, Donald and Malcolm Westcott, Andrew Austin, and Abigail Austin; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and many close friends, who meant the world to Loren.
