Loraine Mary Wise

Loraine Mary Wise, 89 of Moline, died Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be given to a favorite charity in memory of Loraine. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline is assisting the family. The former Loraine Mary Hammer was born February 2, 1915 in Rock Island, Illinois the daughter of Andrew H. and Amanda (Ronnau) Hammer. She married Robert Garrison Wise on February 27, 1946 in Moline. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1977. Loraine was employed as an executive secretary at Erickson Construction Company. She volunteered in the gift shop at Illini Hospital, Silvis. Loraine enjoyed traveling, and travel extensively throughout the world. Survivors include her two nieces, Joan Lehan, Rock Island, and Ann Frolich, Poland, Maine; and eight nieces and nephews, Margot Machmer, Catherine Dinnen, Dennis Mitchell, Doris Fincher, Amy Marchesault, Andrew Frolich, Michelle Stablein, and Mark Lehan. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Loretta Hammer, two sisters, Margaret Wolfinger and Drusilla Huth, a brother, Herb Hammer, and a niece Mary Doeckel-May.
