Moline, Illinois Services for Lois L. Waffle, 90 , of Moline, are 10 AM Monday, June 3, 2002, at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Memorials may be given to Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline, where she was a member. Mrs. Waffle died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, in Riverpark Healthcare Center, Rock Island. The former Lois Lillian Hudson was born March 30, 1912, in Birch, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Lillian (Pulver) Hudson. She married Morris L. Waffle on July 20, 1935 in East Moline, Illinois; Mr. Waffle died February 3, 1980. She was employed in the circulation department for 13 years at the Times Newspaper in Moline, retiring in 1971. She was active in many activities at church, and was a member of the Myrtle Rebekah Lodge #256 in Moline. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, making rag dolls, and playing music. Lois is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Smith, three sons, Bruce, Gary, and Daniel Waffle, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
