Linda Robb, 75, a long time nurse and parish nurse, of East Moline, Illinois, died Monday, January 2, 2017, in her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, 1230 5th Avenue, Moline, with The Reverend Dan Witkowski officiating. Visitation is one hour before the service. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory following the service and burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church for the Parish Nurse Program.
Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is serving the family.
The former Linda Lee Peterson was born April 19, 1941, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Lawrence and Amber Wahl Peterson. She married Ronald James "Jim" Robb on August 11, 1962, in Pontiac, Illinois. She was employed by First Lutheran Church as its Parish Nurse for 19 years, and previously was ICU manager and Night Supervisor for the former Moline Lutheran Hospital and it successors. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and was active in the Parish Nurse Program at UnityPoint Health. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed painting and reading.
Linda us survived by her husband, Jim; two children, Jeff Robb and his wife Nina of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Jill Williams of Kirksville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Brett, Kevin, and David Robb and Madison and Nicholas Williams; and her brother, Dennis Peterson of New Lenox, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Morgan Williams.
