Leslee F. Collins, 77, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Rock Island First Church of the Nazarene, 2921 38th Street, Rock Island. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church.

The former Leslee Faye Hannon was born March 23, 1946, in Moline, the daughter of Gene and Evelyn (Hoobler) Hannon. She graduated from Moline High School in 1964 and went on to marry Daniel Collins on March 19, 1966, in Moline.

She worked at Bituminous Insurance Company and American Air Filter before continuing her career at AAA Motor Club, where she worked until the early 2000’s. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and vacationing with her family. She especially loved her trips to the outer banks of North Carolina and out west.

Leslee is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Dan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sean Kelly and Kimberly Collins of Walcott, Iowa, and Patrick Gene and Jessie Collins of Cynthiana, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Kelly Collins and Caitlin Collins; three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Lydia and Stevie; and a sister and brother-in-law, Debora and Tom Waters of Coal Valley, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving dog, Lucy.
