LeeAnn Hamilton, 44, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Monday, March 17, 2025.
Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, immediately followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Christopher Hamilton for a fund benefiting her children and local animal shelters.
The former LeeAnn Knorr was born December 8, 1980, in Moline, the daughter of Timothy Scott and Brenda (Nagelmiller) Knorr. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Rock Dual. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1999 and later earned a degree in cosmetology. On November 1, 2007, she began her beautiful journey with her husband, Christopher, and together they built a loving home, raising their two children, Gavin and Madeline.
LeeAnn dedicated her professional life to the insurance industry, working as a claims representative for Principal Life Insurance and, most recently, Sun Life. Prior to that, she had been a valued employee at MidAmerican Energy.
A true nature enthusiast, LeeAnn had a passion for conservation, creating her own natural soaps and always having a homeopathic remedy for any ailment. She had a remarkable green thumb, cultivating plants and vegetables with care. A music lover at heart, she enjoyed collecting albums, attending concerts, and was a fan of Pearl Jam and other classic bands.
Above all, LeeAnn’s greatest joy in life was her family. She took immense pride in being a mother and cherished every moment spent with her children—watching Gavin’s sporting events, enjoying movie nights, and sharing special shopping trips and hairstyling sessions with Madeline. She was a devoted and loving mother who fiercely advocated for her children.
LeeAnn is survived by her loving husband, Christopher; her pride and joy, children Gavin Craig Hamilton and Madeline Mae Hamilton; her mother, Brenda Knorr of Moline; her sister, Lacey Mae (Scott Bowser) James of Moline; her niece, Marissa James; mother-in-law, Cheryl Hamilton-Jackson; sister-in-law, Megan (Adam) Cortez; many friends including her best-friends Amanda Kizer, Chanda Pascucci, and Kathy Fuller; and her dog, Roxy. She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Knorr; step-father, Rock Dual; and father-in-law, Danny Jackson.
