Lee E. Decker

Joy, Illinois Lee Decker, 70, of Joy died Saturday, March 30, 2002 at Trinity West Medical Center, Rock Island. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at 12:00 Noon at Aledo Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lee Decker Memorial Fund. Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo is in charge of arrangements. Lee was born on March 9, 1932 in Mercer County, Illinois to Charlie and Myrtle Hall Decker. Lee farmed most of life in Mercer County. He also worked for Bear Manufacturing in Rock Island and for Bud Henderson in Aledo. Lee is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Dave and Renee Decker of Moline and Dan and Linda Decker of St. Paul, MN; his companion, Verna Maynard of Joy; 3 grandsons, Brent, Brad and Shane Decker and 2 great-grandsons, Zachary and Tyson Decker; his twin brother, Lyle Decker of Rock Island; brother Cletus ''Pete'' Decker of Burlington; and a sister, Lila Bloomfield of Viola.
