Lee D. Forest, 43, of Coal Valley, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, in the Emergency Room at Trinity Medical Center, Moline.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, with The Reverend Ken Beach officiating. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to an educational fund for his daughters.
Lee Douglas Forest was born November 26, 1961, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Gerald and Anita (Powell) Forest. He graduated from Moline High School and was employed by IBP in Joslin for 13 years. He loved fishing, camping, and riding his four-wheeler.
Lee is survived by daughters, Chelsie Forest of Silvis and Hayley Forest of Coal Valley; his mother, Anita Forest of Coal Valley; a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Franklin Vann of Moline; brothers, Wayne and Andrew Forest of Coal Valley; a niece, April Shields of Moline; a nephew, Kory Forest of Coal Valley; a great-nephew, Kobe Kaskadden of Moline; grandmothers, Marjorie Leuntjens of East Moline, and Virginia Powell of Coal Valley; an uncle and several aunts, including a very special aunt, Marlene and Tony Fackeldey of Moline; and many friends.
