Lawrence R. Lacaille

Lawrence R. LaCaille, 73, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, in UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will follow the visitation at Trimble Crematory and a memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral Home. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Lawrence Raymond LaCaille was born May 4, 1943, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Francis and Josephine (Borges) LaCaille. He married Susan Larson on April 24, 1993, in East Moline. He served in the US Air Force, and was truck driver for 40 years for several companies, including Standard Forwarding and Jevic Transportation, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Teamsters Union in East Moline, enjoyed fishing, and was a handyman who was always willing to help.

Larry is survived by his wife, Susan; sons and spouses, Daniel and Leann LaCaille, David and Dori LaCaille, Dean and Aide LaCaille, Darren LaCaille, and Damon and Tracy LaCaille, all of Texas, Glen and Tiffany Davis of Milan, Illinois, and Paul Davis of Moline; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings and spouses, Louise and Leon Cahill and Hank LaCaille, all of Texas, and Patricia and Michael Beaver of LeClaire, Iowa; and his furry babies, Rambo and Ricco. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Lorene Johnson.
