Laura Lee Nesbitt

Laura “Lee” Nesbitt, 59, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, at home with her loving husband by her side.

Services are Noon Saturday, February 11, at Word of Life Church, Rock Island, with visitation one hour prior to services. Cremation will take place following services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Laura Lee Chandler was born September 16, 1963, the daughter of Joy Adair and Butch Huber. She graduated from Bland High School in Bland, Missouri. She married the love of her life, John William Nesbitt III, on March 19, 2016, in Rock Island.

Lee was a member of Word of Life Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, and working on jigsaw puzzles. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Lee, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Lee is survived by her husband, John; three daughters, Ashley (Adam) Thomas of New Windsor, Illinois, Toni Chandler of Viola, Illinois, and Kelli Adams of Statesville, North Carolina; her step-daughter, Crystal Nesbitt of Silvis, Illinois; ten grandchildren; siblings, Rick Chandler, Tony Chandler, Cindy Crawford, and Bob Chandler; and a special Cousin, Jason Adair.
