Larry J. Blankenfeld

Larry J. Blankenfeld, 67, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Larry Jay Blankenfeld was born January 30, 1957, in Geneseo, Illinois, the son of George and Katherine (Fleming) Blankenfeld. He married Tatyana Mesecha and the couple had two children (Daniel and Emma) before separating. He worked as a brake press operator for Quad City Press. 

He enjoyed working on cars, and watching sports and racing. He also loved spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by four children, Jason Blankenfeld of Moline, Amber Rodgers of South Dakota, Daniel Blankenfeld of Davenport, and Emma Blankenfeld of Davenport; a grandson, Alex Rodgers; his mother, Katherine Blankenfeld of East Moline; two brothers, Ronald Blankenfeld and Mark Blankenfeld; and two sisters, Brenda Blankenfeld and Darla Blankenfeld.
