Landon S. Powell

Landon S. Powell, 52, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, in his home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.

Landon Scott Powell was born July 7, 1969, in Urbana, Illinois, to Lanny and Linda (Pease) Powell. He attended Black Hawk College, and married Susan Wruck on November 12, 1992, in Rock Island. He was a construction accountant for Heart of America Group in Moline for 20 years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved cars, enjoyed house projects, and could fix anything.

Landon is survived by his wife, Susan; three children, Rachel Powell of Seattle, Washington, and Jacob and Joshua Powell, both of Moline; his mother, Linda Powell of East Moline; and siblings and spouses, Lisa and Brian Williams of Moline, Leslie and Kerry Skinner of Eldridge, Iowa, Lane and Jessica Powell of Harmony, Minnesota, and Rodger and Kellene Robertson of Moline. He was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Powell, and his father, Lanny Powell.
