Helen L. Pearson, 88, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, August 16, 2007, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Family graveside services will be Saturday at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is in charge or arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer?s Association.
The former Helen Lucille Mideke was born July 31, 1919, in Moline, the daughter of Carl and Beda (Osterman) Miedke. She graduated from Moline High School in 1937.
She retired from IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union. She enjoyed dancing, country music, and NASCAR racing.
Helen is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Rita Pearson of Coal Valley; a daughter Debra Pearson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses, Mark and Karen Pearson of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and Nicole and Jason Cunningham of Mattoon, Illinois; a great-granddaughter, Natalie Ann Pearson; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Miedke of Taylorsville, Utah, and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Miedke.
