Kyle A. Woolfolk

Kyle Woolfolk, 32, of Silvis, Illinois, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Reverend Michael Vokt officiating. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport, where he was a member, or The Quad City Sled Hockey Association.

Kyle was born February 3, 1985, in Silvis, the son of Melvin and Kathleen (Lehman) Woolfolk. He graduated from Rock Island High School and went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Black Hawk College.

He loved being around his friends and playing sports. He played sled hockey and formed a bowling league for special needs bowlers. He was also an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Quad City Mallards fan.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Melvin and Kathy, of Silvis; a sister, Kelly (Frank) Korfias of Davenport; two brothers, Kory (Nicole) Woolfolk of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Kristopher (Cathy) Woolfolk of Moline; nephews and a niece, Thaddeus Korfias, Braeden Kannenberg, and Marley Woolfolk; aunts and uncles, Kris (Bob) Cawley of Milan, Peggy Davidson, Pat (Allen) Spencer, Dick (Starr) Woolfolk, and Bill (Marla) Woolfolk; and many cousins.
